TROGIR - CROATIA
The beautiful historic town of Trogir is a peninsula and
a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Numerous streets
invite you to stroll, where you can find lots of souvenir
shops, cafes and restaurants. A major attraction in
Trogir is the cathedral sv. Lovro from the 13th century
and the fortress Kamerlengo. The fort is accessible from
an entrance fee and offers a beautiful view of Trogir
and the island Čiovo.
SPLIT - CROATIA
The second largest city in Croatia presents itself as a
culturally rich and historical as well as a modern city.
The Diocletian Palace and the promenade with many
cafes and bars should be experienced. Numerous
shopping possibilities are expecting their customers.
Either on the cheap street market or in designer stores
no wishes will remain unsatisfied after a shopping trip
in Split. This exciting city can be reached by car, bus or
boat taxi from Trogir.
KLIS - CROATIA
In a distance of 10 km towards the inland of the city of
Split there is the small village of Klis. The fortress towers
rise up on a rock above the town, which can easily be
reached by car or bus. The the Middle Ages building is
spread over several floors and can be visited against
the admission ticket. From up there you have a
wonderful view of Split and the surrounding islands
Čiovo, Brač, Šolta and Hvar.
Sights
SALONA - CROATIA
Solin is close to the big city Split. It is home to the
ancient ruins of the 2nd to the 6th century influential
ancient Roman city Salona. Today Salona is an "open
air museum" and not only attractive for history buffs,
but also photography lovers are well served here. The
afternoon sunlight exposes perfectly the reliefs on the
numerous ruins and produces fantastic photography
results.
